These pictures were taken at the wet market in my sleepy coastal hometown, Kuala Terengganu. The sight and smells (fresh fish, wet veggies and unfortunately clogged drains) reminded me of childhood days, when I frequented the market accompanying my mother on her weekly grocery excursions. Little has changed since those days.
Great shots! I've just started uploading my own at http://tigrrr.blogs.friendster.com/tigrrrs_tales and I assure you, they don't come close to yours. Wish I had a camera like yours. Take care sweetie!
dora, love that vibrant pic of the fresh produce. the "jambu" fruits look reddishly yummy. wouldn't mind trying those "ketupat" myself if i'm there. promise to take me there the next time i'm in town?
